I love to cook. That’s probably because I’m half Italian. (So there will be lots of Italian dishes on this page)
I also like the idea of eating seasonally. As such, I’ve divided these recipes into seasons (via tags) that make it representative of when certain things are available here–when they taste the best. So while you can get asparagus essentially any time of year, it tastes the best in the spring: when it naturally comes up.

I also think that cooking at home is something we should try to get back to as a society. So that’s another reason I post recipes–to provide inspiration to you.
I’m not a cook by training. By training I’m a writer/political operative. But I do love to cook and bake. I hope you find some great ideas here for your own kitchen!
