Meal plan for February 16 to February 22, 2013




Since it’s Lent, there’s a lot of soups here, as well as meatless dishes. One of my Lenten ideas was to eat more simply–soups, meatless items, things like that. So with the exception of the steak on Sunday, this meal plan hews to those ideas.

Saturday: lunch: egg drop soup. Dinner: out

Sunday: breakfast: Pioneer Woman’s Breakfast Potatoes; lunch: Nigella Lawson’s quick steak recipe from her new cookbook; Dinner: pasta

Monday: Dinner: Tomato soup with pancetta

Tuesday: Dinner out

Wednesday: Winter Minestrone

Thursday: Pioneer Woman Mac and Cheese

Friday: Church Fish Fry
